Lethbridge Polytechnic's Winter Fest Returns with Festive Fun and Community Spirit

Lethbridge Polytechnic is thrilled to announce the return of its annual Winter Fest, set to take place on Thursday, November 27, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Trades, Technologies and Innovation Facility entrance on the south side of campus.

 

This free, family-friendly event promises an evening filled with festive activities designed to bring the community together and kick off the holiday season in style.

 

Attendees can look forward to a variety of attractions, including a delightful hot chocolate bar, a cozy outdoor bonfire, and the opportunity to capture cherished memories with Santa and Mrs. Claus.

 

Adding to the excitement, the Coca-Cola Holiday Caravan will make its only stop in Lethbridge during the event, offering unique photo opportunities and festive cheer.

 

In the spirit of giving, guests are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item for donation to the Lethbridge Polytechnic Students’ Association Food Bank, supporting fellow students in need during the holiday season.

 

Alumni Engagement Coordinator Lanae Morris highlights a new addition to this year's festivities: the Holiday Cheer Challenge.

 

Participants can pick up a free challenge kit during Winter Fest, which includes five engaging holiday-themed activities such as sharing a holiday photo, baking festive treats, crafting ornaments, and performing random acts of kindness.

 

Completing all five challenges and submitting photos by December 16 will enter participants into a draw to win one of three Coca-Cola prize packs, each featuring a custom cooler that doubles as a sound system, along with other branded goodies.
